I'm have a good rapport and am very comfortable with children and young people. I enjoy their freedom of expression and the broader ways they think and feel. I've worked as a teacher's aid, co-facilitated arts workshops for children and helped facilitate camps. My studies will provide the opportunity for me to work further and more extensively with children through the arts.
The opportunity to contribute to, and learn from/be a part of a broader community of artists who believe in the imperative to enrich children's education through the exposure and experiencing of a diverse range of arts.
I feel I would grow personally and extend my arts practice enormously through being involved in ArTELIER - I would then use this growth and 'broadening' of skills and network as a platform to give back to community as potently as I'm able.
My interest at this stage of my study and practice lies predominantly in constant exploration and living comfortably within uncertainty.
