Ainslie Macaulay is a curator, teacher and maker from Melbourne. Her practice often draws on her interest in geography, natural environments and places of transience. Ainslie has a BA from La Trobe University, Bendigo and an MA (Art in Public Space) from RMIT University, Melbourne. She has exhibited at a number of arts festivals around Australia, some of which include White Night Melbourne (2012 & 2016), the Gertrude Street Projection Festival and Brookfield Place Winter Lights Festival in Perth. In 2016, Ainslie came on board for SITUATE Art in Festivals and has since undertaken a range of community engagement and arts facilitator roles. She is based in Hobart.
