Encounters…Online

Hobart, TAS

Developing new ways to produce meaningful creative encounters ONLINE with children, families and young people who are spending more time at home while also extending our Artists to work in innovative and collective ways.

Thomas has absolutely adored his mini Art shed/ cubby. Over the last week it has been both indoors and outside. It has been an art shed for spraying, painting and drawing on. It has also been a shop, a house that police are like to visit, a cosy book corner on a rainy day and his house. I’m looking forward to seeing what it becomes this week!
Yesterday evening I set up Thomas’s new Art experience for this morning but he was so enthusiastic about it that he ended up inside in his pyjamas painting and speaking for a good 30-45 minutes when it was bed time! It took a lot of persuasion to get him out! Finally we managed to negotiate him leaving the shed but taking the spray paint bottle into the shower!
