Robert Jackson

I have many skills musical and otherwise. For example, over the last few years I have run courses in: drumming, circus skills, improvisation (music and theatre), painting and drawing, ensemble music, cryptic crosswords, archaeology and astronomy. I have written many grant applications over the years (often successfully!) and also been president/committee member of several community and art/music groups - usually with an environmental focus.

I’m 60 years old and born in UK, I grew up in PNG, lived and worked mostly in Melbourne, but also all over Australia and a bit overseas. Moved to Huon Valley at the beginning of 2019. I am a musician playing guitar and sax and also composer - studied at the VCA. I have BA(hons) in Linguistics too. I have played in a million bands rock jazz etc but also very involved in experimental music. I am a visual artist and have won a few awards for murals. I have also done a lot of theatre and circus.
