Angela Barnard

I am a dance teacher, with experience teaching both high school and college students. I have been doing this for 13 years. I also am Artistic Associate of DRILL Performance Company, where I work with young people aged 10-30. Through this work, I have taught contemporary dance technique, improvisation and skills to develop a young artist's creativity, as well as choreographing dance pieces on people of this age group. I also worked for Tas Theatre Company in 2018 on a project called 'Uprising', which engaged a youth based cast to stage two contemporary theatre plays. I hold a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts with majors in dance and photography, and a Graduate Diploma in Education.
