Rebecca Holmes

I am an artist, art educator and administrator. Over the past 8 years I have worked with children in the arts in a variety of contexts, building my passion for engaging with and programming for young art audiences. I started this journey in Sydney interning for the State Library of NSW in education and public programs as part of my Master of Art Curatorship at the University of Sydney, and went on to work for Kaldor Public Art Projects and Sculpture in the Vineyards. Moving to Hobart in 2014, I worked as art educator at TMAG for 4 years. Whilst there I initiated the TMAG Children's Festival and programmed it for 3 years. The festival focused on bringing children to the centre of its design, development and delivery, facilitating ownership over cultural content. I now work as Visual Arts Program Officer at the Moonah Arts Centre.
