Maeve MacGregor

Maeve is studying a Masters of Cultural Leadership at NIDA, where she also completed her undergraduate in performance. The focus of her Masters in the social impacts of arts on the lives of children and their parents. In 2017 she was a Tasmanian delegate to the Australian Theatre Forum, and the Australian Youth Arts Forum on behalf of Terrapin Puppet Theatre. From 2014 – 2017 she was the Artistic Director of Loud Mouth, of which she was a founder. During this time the company focussed on opportunities for young and emerging artists and women, and created the national campaign #leosboganbrigade in defence of young Tasmanian artists against Leo Schofield's slanderous attacks.
Maeve adapted Terrapin's work "I Think I Can" to an ancient Roman context for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Maeve mentors young artists in their work, and advocates for the inclusion of young people in mainstream theatre practice and space.
