I am a multi-media artist, specialising in landscape paintings and sculpture. I grew up in the 60/70s in a small town, surrounded by the Royal National Park, Illawarra Escarpment and the Southern Pacific Ocean. My childhood memories are filled with bush and coast adventures and its inherent beauty, exploring and playing in the bush, creeks and the rocky foreshores. The making of my art is my humble way of connecting people with the beauty and preciousness of our earth, the living beings that inhabit it and restoring hope and faith that each of us can and should make a positive difference.
What I have seen and heard from your website has totally inspired me as my arts career has centred around my teaching and developing creative projects for the communities I lived in with my family. We thrived on the interactions, connections and joy that creating together brought to the community and are working towards that through our business in the Huon Valley.
Being focused on developing our arts based business has limited our capacity to develop strong links with other creative people and seek to develop through community based projects such as ArTELIER further connections with other artists.
