Victoria Ryle
Victoria Ryle, founder of Kids’ Own Publishing Partnership, Ireland (1997) and Kids’ Own Publishing, Australia, 2003, organisations which amplify children’s voices through arts-led, rights-based community partnerships. She has pioneered publishing books by children through artist-led community partnerships, presenting internationally on this practice.
Victoria is a PhD candidate in the School of Geography, University of Tasmania, researching children co-publishing books as a model for intragenerational place-making. Victoria is also co-director of all that we are, an artists’ residency space in southern Tasmania connecting communities through creativity. She has an ongoing website about her PhD called Publishing Books with Children.
