Miranda Wageman
I am currently working at local Council as Community Development Officer in Arts and Culture, promoting and connecting the arts and artists/makers in the Huon Valley. In my private life I am a musician and in Tasmania have been in a musical collaboration for nearly 10 years. See: https://www.reverbnation.com/rainewageman. Prior to this I was in a Argentinean Tango quartet for a number of years in Perth (WA), where we played for local milongas (Argentinean dance events) and created our own theatrical productions and performances. I spent a six weeks in Buenos Aires learning specific tango violin techniques. I started learning the violin at 8 years back in Holland and played in the Groningen Youth Orchestra. I was also a member of a modern experimental music group (in truth, more fun to do than to listen to).
